Refik Anadol Studios
Coming together in a historical collaboration, the Yawanawa and world renowned AI artist Refik Anadol launched the co-created digital artworks NFT series Winds of Yawanawa in July 2023, which transformed Yawanawa paintings into digital art by AI.
The collaboration funded the structures for the V Indigenous Ayahuasca Conference, which now consists of a permanent cultural landmark at the Sacred Village. Other projects are currently being developed with Refik.
The exciting collaboration between Instituto Nixiwaka and Refik Anadol Studio continues, with a Yawanawa song now featured in one of the immersive rooms at Dataland, the groundbreaking new digital art museum recently opened in Los Angeles.
