Yawajourneys
Instituto Nixiwaka has a strategic partnership with Yawajourneys, an organization dedicated to transformative travel and immersive cultural experiences. The partnership creates meaningful, culturally respectful journeys into Yawanawa territory, fostering genuine connections with the community while contributing to the sustainable development of the Yawanawa people and the preservation and appreciation of their knowledge, traditions and way of life.
Through this collaboration, Yawajourneys organizes visits and immersive experiences in Yawanawa villages, facilitating encounters with community leaders and members, cultural activities, ceremonies, exchanges and opportunities to connect with nature. The partnership also seeks to generate economic opportunities for the Yawanawa community, strengthen its autonomy and amplify national and international awareness of the extraordinary cultural heritage and environmental richness of Yawanawa territory.
