Instituto Nixiwaka works in partnership with Yawanawa Retreats to create and support immersive experiences that offer participants a meaningful connection with Yawanawa culture, spirituality, traditions and relationship with nature. The initiative provides a platform through which people from around the world can experience aspects of Yawanawa knowledge and cultural practices while engaging directly with members and leaders of the community.
The partnership also contributes to the broader mission of Instituto Nixiwaka by creating sustainable economic opportunities for the Yawanawa people and helping to strengthen and preserve their cultural heritage. Through carefully developed retreats and cultural experiences, Yawanawa Retreats helps share Yawanawa traditions internationally in a manner that respects the community's identity, values and cultural protocols, while supporting the continued transmission of its knowledge to future generations.
